Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT 2014

The differences are night and day. The Jeep Grand Cherokee has gone from trail-rated to track-rated. From overtaking steep grades, fording rivers and storming beaches, to hugging corners, embarrassing souped-up Hondas, and otherwise running amok. O.K., the Grand Cherokee SRT, now minus the 8, has tacked on a couple of hundred pounds with its last update. But, only the truly fanatical will know—or care. Thank the massive Hemi V-8 and a new eight-speed automatic with a launch-control mode. There’s an Eco mode, too, but it may just be for looks, or your environmental conscious. Selec-Track (now with a k) four-wheel drive system offers different damping and shift points tied to how it distributes the torque. Better still is the particularly menacing appearance, complete with a hunkered down look, tinted lamps with glossy black grille surrounds and optional black rims. The SRT definitely takes the night option.Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT 2014 photoJeep Grand Cherokee SRT 2014 frontJeep Grand Cherokee SRT 2014 backJeep Grand Cherokee SRT 2014 interior
