Mercedes-Benz AMG GT 2015

With production of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT ending, a slot has opened up in the German automaker’s lineup for a supercar. This is where the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT comes in. The Mercedes AMG GT has a new powerful AMG 4.0-liter V-8 bi-turbo engine, the M178, beating as its heart. Everything that AMG has learned from their motor-sports experience has been translated into this engine for everyday use. It produces 503 horsepower at 6,250 rpm and 479 foot-pounds of torque. With a dry sump lubrication system instead of a conventional oil pan, the engine’s centerline is lowered by 55 millimeters. This allows for a center of gravity that is closer to the road. The interior is very sporty, yet elegant. Overall, the cabin gives off an athletic vibe, especially through the seating. Meanwhile, the precise stitchwork, abundant amount of fine leather and high-tech equipment exude luxury. While many may be sad to see the end of production for the SLS AMG, the new Msrcedes AMG GT is a more than adequate replacement. Now, the next step is for Mercedes to release a Black Series edition.Mercedes-Benz AMG GT 2015 profileMercedes-Benz AMG GT 2015 photo1Mercedes-Benz AMG GT 2015 photo2Mercedes-Benz AMG GT 2015 frontMercedes-Benz AMG GT 2015 rearMercedes-Benz AMG GT 2015 interior
